Today was my 3rd Make Up segment on Ireland AM where our theme was choosing and perfecting a red lipstick.
My lovely models Tiffany and Mary were very professional and great on camera, Thank you ladies for making my job so easy!
It is very exciting being on TV I love it even though I still get a big pang of nerves just before we start. And then there is the Glamourizing process, I had Laura from Alice in Beautyland do my spray tan on Monday night. She uses White to Brown and it is perfect for my naturally olive skin tone and comes off nicely with a little help from my tan eraser mitt.
Tuesday night I blow dry my hair with my fav Problo brushes and curl and pin with help from my Instyler MAX.
On Wednesday morning I get up at 5am do my own make up until 6 then head to the TV3 HD Studio full of excitement and nerves.
This morning on Tiffany I applied MAC Cromagraphic Concealer pencil around the lip line RRP: €18.00
TIP: By applying the concealer pencil lip liner it adds more definition, acts as a highlighter and Stops the lipstick from moving.
With Blank Canvas Brush L29 (RRP:€6.99) I then applied YSL Rouge Pur Couture Lipstick no.13 Le Orange RRP: €33.00. This lipstick can be seen on Kourtney Kardashian. (Available in Debenhams and Brown Thomas.)
On Mary I applied MAC cosmetic lip primer RRP: €17.00
TIP: By applying a primer it refines any fine lines or pores, smooths out the skin and acts as a protective barrier which stops the lipstick from “Bleeding”
TIP: Sometimes the lip can be fully filled in by a lip pencil to give maximum lasting power.
I applied the lipstick with Blank Canvas Brush L29 RRP: €6.99 I applied Giorgio Armani Rouge d’armani Lip color 400 as seen on Helen Merrin.RRP: €31.50 (Available in Brown Thomas or Dublin Airport)
